I know I must wear thigh pads over those because they are protected enough, but are the hip and tailbone pads protected enough with the foam pads on the girdle?

What is the best football equipment for me?
Okay. I live in Michigan. I play football. It gets down to 50, 60, 70 degrees here on game nights and up to 100 on practice days. I need something that will keep me cool when it's hot but won't freeze me when it's cold. I don't want to just guess which is best for me and have it be wrong then waste a bunch more money trying something else out. Any suggestions please? Thanks.

I'm working as an English teacher in a 3rd world country where the resources are extremely limited. I teach in a university where a group of 30 youngmen have taken a liking to American Football. They've asked me if I knew of any organizations that would be willing to donate used or even new football equipment like helmets, shoulder, elbow, knee pads and a few footballs.American football is not at all played by the masses here it's soccer . Yet, when I saw these talented kids play with great potential,....well, I just wanna help them out.Any ideas anyone?? I'd really appreciate it.
