I helped coach my 9-year-old little brother's football team this year - did I have the right to do this?

Walk on and tryout for a college football team without attending the college?
I know some colleges accepts walk ons, like D2 ,D3 and some D1. but what if you walk on and they accept you and there is no classes that interest you like digital animation and visuall effects. could I still play on the team without going to there college?

Where can I join a low league football team in Kilmarnock?
I used to play alot of football and martial arts a few years ago, during that time I developed a heart condition which questioned my fitness, I stopped playing football and eventually moved away from both sports, my health is far better but my fitness has suffered for it, I'm moving upto Kilmarnock in the next few weeks and I would like to join a new team, I have got footballing skills but with such an absence I honestly have no idea where to start or how even to go abouts signing onto a team, thankyou for your help people, it it much appreciated
