Get somebody (Dad?) to practice throwing and catching everyday after school...practice running routes correctly (tip: square them off, don't make a rounded cut when you change directions, make it sharp/ square)...practice running sprints, here is a good one that NFL trainers use: 100 yds as follows; 20 yds at 70%, 20 yds at 100%, repeat, those along with 40 yds sprints will get you faster. Also run "3 cone drills " (look it up on you tube)...and finally get some flags and practice pulling them in drills and just practice games...good luck...p.s. there are no "tricks ", it's just god given talent and preparation...hopefully you are blessed with some speed, because speed in football is a huge advantage...as coaches are fond of saying...luck follows speed. |
