Question: American football equipment advice?

Looking for some advice, i've started to play for the local team and i need to get pads, helmet etc. i plan to play cornerback as the coach seems to believe that i could do well in this position. what shoulder pads should i be purchasing and how do i size up for the fitting? plus does anyone know of any good websites in the uk?

Depending on the type of corner you want to be will determine the pads you get. I recommend for a well balanced corner to get wide receiver pads. They have a low pad shelf witch allows for good mobility of the arms. They are also sturdy for hits. I would recommend checking Eastbay website for pads. Good Luck
