Question: What is the point of nascar racing?

I don't get it.All they do is drive around in circles and talk about car parts.I know why guys like to watch it, but whats the point of it? Don't they get dizzy, sitting in their chairs, watching the cars go round and round and round and ROUND..........

Why do guys like football? It's just a bunch of guys going back and forth on a field. Back and forth and back and forth and back and forth.......... They do pat each others butts at times, maybe that is the reason.

The point of watching any kind of race is to see who or what wins. Nobody gets dizzy, because the cars don't go round and round and round in circles. Ovals, tri-ovals, road courses, yes - but no circles. If the race is particularly good, nobody sits in their chairs. Sorry that you don't get it. On a good race day, there's nothing better.

The point is for NASCAR to modify the cars and tracks on the last 10 races so much in favor of the 48 team that they'll win another TAINTED "championship ".

You really don't get it but that's ok. I am not a golfing fan. Why would I walk around, hitting a little ball around a field? What sense does that make? Everyone has their own sport or hobby that they enjoy.

Believe it or not but NASCAR is the most watched sport in America. Theres a point to every sport, you just have to watch it to get it.

Whats the point of football. all you do is watch 22 guys run back and forth chasing pig skin. whats the point of basketball, all you do is watch 10 guys run back and forth chasing a round ball and trying to get it into a basket. THERE IS NO LOGICAL REASON WHY PEOPLE WATCH SPORTS, its just exciting.

Why does people want to watch someone throw a football and get tackled and sometimes kick it to make a field goal? Because they like it.. (GO Steelers, even thought they lost today..) Why does people like watching someone hit a baseball and around around a diamond shaped mounds? Because they like it.... Why in the world does people like playing golf? Because it's fun and they like it.. Why does some women like to be girly for and not watch sports? Because they don't like them and probably too stupid to learn anything about them. I love sports and I learned about them at a young age, because I was around guys. Why does people cheat on someone they love? Because they are stupid... Why does some people decide they never want to work in life and lay on welfare? Because they are stupid and lazy. Why does people ask a question like this? BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO CLUE!! I bet I have more fun then you do.. :) And Halloween? lmfao! wtf? It's for kid's... NASCAR rocks and so does Jeff Gordon, even though he is not going to win this year. Only one driver out of over 40 will win anyways. So, not everyone is going to agree on who I like as a driver and who I want to win. I don't care. We don't get dizzy watching cars go round and ROUND. We enjoy it. They earn points in NASCAR just like any other sport. You probably didn't know that though. They race at a few road tracks a year and it isn't just an oval. What makes you think we sit in our chairs the whole time and watch it. Most of us like to hang with friends, maybe go to a bar and drink a few beers and watch it. Me and my fiance has a tv outside in our grilling area and we grill out and watch the race and have a BBQ. Sometimes we will go fourwheeling in the mountains and don't have a tv, but we still can listen to the race on the radio when we pull off. Actually, we have a fun life. Just because we watch NASCAR doesn't mean we don't know how to have fun and we get dizzy sitting in our chairs the whole time watching it. You don't have a clue, do you? lol..
