Well, i think that the majority of the population seaks/ learns spanish as a second lang. but it all depends on where you plan to live/ work when you take up that job....so it is best ot learn both, but i suggest you take spanish |

Well in this country Spanish is the new national language. That being said, you should learn French. Its a romance language, and it just sounds nice. That way you can order all the nice french things for weddings from france. Nobody ever says "lets get our wedding stuff from mexico ". |

You should really pick the one you think would be more interesting; I speak from experience when I say that the easiest languages to learn are the ones that you enjoy learning. That's why I have A's in Mandarin but I'm one of the only people I know who failed a Spanish class (didn't suit my fancy enough to put any effort into it) |

I want to be a wedding planner in the U.S, where very few speak french, but where a lot of Spanish-speaking folks live....hummm...decisions, decisions....what to do.....Einstein would not be able to figure this one out.... |

As a fluent speaker of both these languages, I would say it depends untirely upon your global location. Spanish is the more widely spoken language, however outside of the Americas its popularity is restricted to only a few countries. If you live in America, Spanish should be your first choice. On the other hand, French is spoken throughout europe as well as in many other countries (Africa, for example). I would recommend that you search for beginners vocabulary on the internet for both languages to see which one you get more of a feel for. Because of the similarity of the languages, it would be best for you to learn quite a bit of one of them so you don't get them confused, then it would be easy to learn the other as many of the words are the same, as well as general verb structure. You're going to have so much fun, whichever you choose! They're both really beautiful languages! Buena suerte ~ Bonne chance ~ Good luck! |
