Christians a question about wedding vows?
If you are suppose to be reunited with friends and family in heaven. Why is it that wedding vows end with " until death do you part" or " until parted by death?" How come it doesn't say something like " forever here and in heaven?" It just seems the way vows are said, like you will never see each other again.
Are there different wedding vows if your a Melkite Catholic, or is it the same as Roman Catholics?

when couples marry they make vows before god,like fore sake all others and make a promise forever and because its a promise before and to god they can never be broken,but alot of people are skeptical god even exists,just the faith that he does,so at the end of the day is that promise before god even real? like saying you can never fall in love with another or you are breaking your promise to god,can i have your views on this please thanks
IS a freemason's oath stronger than his wedding vows?
I am having an extremely hard time with my husband becoming a free mason as I have read that the oath a free mason takes during initiation is more powerful than his wedding vows. It bothers me that this oath is telling him to be mor eloyal to his brothers than his wifeTo Hawkinsian I have no problem with him having " boys night" I agree it is very important for husband and wife to have alone time. Granted I dont know if I beilve the weird conspiracies out their about masonary, it bothers me that as his wife he HAS to keep secrets from me. I've never read anything in scriptures about wedding vows?
There were huge parties receptions somtimes,but what about actual wedding " vows" ? It's almost like if they slept togther, that meant they were married concubines . Even for Adam and Eve, there was no ceremony. Does this mean if a man and woman cohabitate they are married in Gods eyes? Please use scripture to back it up. Thanks.

and then gotten cold feet...I know a little late...and quickly said a prayer " God please tell did I do the right thing?" Even though until that moment you believed it Gods doing. Then no sooner than you said the prayer did the sky turn black and a huge storm blew through running the entire wedding inside and turning the tables over.What would you think?
